Making time to fix what’s bothering your pet, burn off destructive energy and getting annual health check ups can not only make life better for you but also makes everything in a pet’s life better! Many common bad habits can be fixed with some helpful guidance from a great pet trainer. Did you know 75% of people who make a resolution to be more active keep their resolutions if they involve their pet? That’s right! Man’s best friend can keep you on that healthy tract that so many of us resolve to at the beginning of the year. Besides, who wants to walk, run, jog or hike alone? Keeping your pet with you not only is pleasing to you, but makes your pet feel like they have won the lottery. So many of us come home and just want to relax, while Fido relaxed all day and now wants all of your attention. Remember a tired dog is a happy dog! Keeping fit for you also may be great three or four days a week, but a young active dog may need more. Pet daycare, pet camps, and dog walkers can be a great way to use extra active attention when you are on overload. Look into what makes you comfortable and what would be the best for your particular breed and activity level. Below are some helpful hints in keep your pledge to be healthy and happy….. and your pet too!
